Of course the modern Dresden is really quite worth a visit as well.

Das Hotel "Švýcarský dům" (Schweizer Hof) liegt im westlichen Teil der Böhmischen Schweiz, in etwa 600 m ü.M., nahe der Stadt Děčín (Tetschen), am Fuße des Hohen Schneeberges. Das Hotel wurde im Jahre 1893 eingeweiht, im Laufe der Zeit mehrmals rekonstruiert, zum letzten Mal in 2020.

In the summertime, at evenings, when the sky is painted with so many beautiful colors, it’s a magical place. Adjacent to this terrace is a Hotel which shares the same name as the vista – Belveder. The surrounding countryside is favorite place for walkers and all around there are excellent places for mountaineering. From there you can easily reach the popular beauty-spot of Soutěsky and the world-famous Pravčická brána.
